Royal Orchid Central, Shimoga , shimoga

I stayed in this hotel for two nights recently. It is a very decent place in the busy centre of shimoga. Stumptuous breakfast and the restaurant is also good with a wide spread of menu. The rooms and bath rooms are clean and the service is also good. For the price we paid, it is more than worth. I recommend this to the people visiting shimoga either on bussiness or holiday.

I happened to stay in the Hotel while on Office duty. The Hotel is situated in a Central location of Shimoga. The Staff were very helpful. The Rooms were adequate with WiFi facility. Breakfast was complimentary and was quiet tasty.

In general the accommodations were adequate, the dining choices were satisfactory, and the location was convenient. Unfortunately the service left much to be desired. Many of the staff did not speak or understand English. Also, they were somewhat inhospitable, not rude but also not welcoming.

We stayed one night in the Royal Orchid in Shimoga (on the way to Hampi). Very nice hotel located right down town. We had dinner in the restaurant and the food was excellent. Staff was helpful and kind, room was very comfortable, clean, and well-appointed. Great place to stay if you are visiting Shimoga or just need an overnight.

We stayed here for a night on our way to Bangalore, found this property to be well maintained and good. The food options were decent, service was good, staff were polite and helpful. The parking space too was enough. The choice for the breakfast was impressive, the F&B Mgr took special care of our breakfast. Overall a positive experience.
