Nice ambience

Hotel property is very beautiful.I m very happy With this hospitality, because this hotel are very old but nice attraction is there.room is large but need some more maintenance. Reception boy " Mr. Murly " is very good,also Restaurant boy "Mr.Samiran is very helpful he was talking care nicely, morning breakfast was awesome with tasty food.

This is probably the best place to stay in Mysore in this price range. And Mysore has an air of civility which is probably just alien to any other city in India. It is walkable, clean, and friendly. Location of this hotel makes walking around quite feasible; many interesting spots are a medium length walk away.
Very helpful staff (especially at the restaurant!), clean premises, and spacious rooms.

We stayed two nights in Room 202, which is large and comfortable and furnished in a traditional style, and has a balcony that faces the front of the hotel. When the double doors to the balcony were open we heard a lot of traffic noise, but once the doors were closed, we heard nothing, so sleeping wasn’t a problem.

Excellent location. A charming hotel with comfortable rooms and good restaurant. We had booked for 4 nights, but when we arrived they asked us if we would spend one night at the sister hotel in Brindavan Gardens. (Think they had overbooked) Having just arrived in India after 24 hours travelling, was not an option we fancied. it was not however compulsory and on consideration we said O.K as we intended to visit the Gardens anyway. We stayed in a Heritage room and enjoyed our stay very much. OK, the plumbing was a little quirky (you had to switch the heater on for 10 minutes before use to get hot water) and the bathroom was a little dated, but that adds to the charm of the hotel. If you can live with that (and there's no reason why not - everything worked fine), it has a real character about it and I would strongly recommend. The food was excellent and the service friendly.
