Very average hotel

by Lorraine C on 22 Jan 2017 (Couple Traveller)

Overall the worst hotel out of the 3 myself and partner stayed in during our recent trip to Thailand. I was looking forward to staying here and expected more to be honest. Reception staff were sullen - no explanation about things, especially when our room key card wouldn't work and had to return to reception. Our room was small, bed was hard. It was noisy at night, could constantly hear the whistle blowing of the attendant outside. The night market was directly outside of the hotel. Breakfast wa...

Noisy ( music all night ex street) and smelly

by Nigel C on 18 Jan 2017 (Couple Traveller)

A disappointing venue, pool was unheated, room had street noise all night and the carpets smelt of damp which had been mitigated by campher spray. Breakfast was unimagiative and the staff were less than attentive (bored). The only saving grace was the hotel's central location-not one to revisit

Old and noisy but with a good breakfast

by jarathome on 13 Jan 2017 (Couple Traveller)

I expected more from a Dusit Hotel. The location is good for those wanting access to the Night Bazaar, bad for those wanting peace and quiet and easy access to the hotel. The room was clean, the bed firm but comfortable but the pi...

Good location

by NeverOutGunned on 12 Jan 2017 (Couple Traveller)

The interior is dated and could do with some refurbishment. Noise isolation is a problem. Good convenient location to get around town. One can find cheaper accommodation in CM but it is a good last minute option. If you are on the upper floors it is noisy if you are a light sleeper.

Lovely hotel and location we were bed and breakfast only and the food was pretty much a bit of both Asian and continental. There is a night market right outside but do not be put of by this. For those who are unsure on Asian food there is a macdonalds and a newly opened Hard Rock Cafe almost dead opposite. You do get the local taxi drivers outside asking if you want to do a trip,we took one for all day after a bit of negotiation he settled for 1200 baht,we went to Baan Tong Luang to the hill tri...
