Shimla glen is the place which is known for the trekking. There is a narrow trek on which you to walk. Amazing place surrounded by pine trees. Nice atmosphere around the place.. This is the place for the thrill lovers... You can also visit the Military museum from the place which is worth the visit. Overall this is the place for young people and who dare to experience the thrill....

paredise for nature lover, But Limted Time

The walk is prettier than the end destination, which you can't explore. A lovely, quiet side of the town's ridge - but take water, as we didn;t come across any stalls. Can do it in 2 hours there and back from town.

Glen - Lucky if you find it

I live very near to this place and have often seen foreigner's and young Indians trekking down to the much hyped Shimla Glen. Once you start heading towards Glen ( no signages to help out) you are at the mercy of locals to help you to find out the exact route. And mind you almost 80% of them would not have visited this place. Its a narrow trek once you leave the main road from Vidhan Sabha to Annandale ground. The trek is beautiful with pine and Deodhar trees, It will take you around thirty minute form the main road. Please carry all eatables and water with you as there are no eateries around, The nearest chai shops are near to Annandale ground which is about 20 minutes walk from the road leading to Glen. Try to visit the Military museum which is worth watching and even Big B ( Amitabh Bachchan has visited this place). Glen not recommended for aged, and who cannot walk for long.
