Shraddha Inn , shirdi

My parents are regular users of this hotel during there annual pilgrimage so I had built up my hopes. The Lobby, exterior etc was lovely and welcome drink very refreshing. Staff were a little docile...lacked get up and go. Had to prompt them for information as opposed to being given it. Very good looking hotel in the central of Shirdi and close to the temple. They have free taxi service to take you to the temple. Reception staff were very helpful and they helped change our room as requested. Rooms are very clean, spacious and bathroom was ok.Shower was very good and bed was very comfortable. I am a regular visitor to this hotel for the past 15 years. All I can say now is that the hotel has deteriorated tremendously. It needs major renovation particularly of the washrooms. You cant be one of the most expensive hotels in the city and have washrooms with cracks in bathing tubs, stained wash basins and very ordinary toiletries. About the service the less said the better. We have been staying at Shraddha Inn regularly. I was a bit apprehensive this time as i had seem some dissatisfied reviews. But was relieved to experience the charm again. The property is top notch . Quiet & secluded in busy & noisy Shirdi. Its a 5 min walk from the mandir. Room Service is still good & prompt. I found issues with the food though.
