about simbalbara wildlife sanctuary

Located just 12 km off NH 72, on Paonta-Nahan Road,  Simbalwara Wildlife Sanctuary is a treat for birdwatchers. The dense sal forests provide the perfect canopy, required for a thriving avian diversity. The sheer variety of birds here is breathtaking. Birdsong, gurgling streams and vivid colours make for beautiful company. One of the most scenic regions in Himachal, the sanctuary is a haven for a plethora of flora and fauna. Some of the most common animals spotted here are sambhar, chital, barking deer and goral.
