about snorkeling at bat island

If you're visiting Goa you simply can't miss out on  Snorkeling at Bat Island. Submerge yourself beneath the underwater world of Goa where an entirely different world awaits you. Plunge to a depth of 4 feet or more, swerve through shipwrecks in the company of  beautiful tropical fishes, cruising through the warm waters of the dazzling Arabian Sea. The reefs are swarming with parrot fishes, angel fishes, snappers, squirrel fishes, sea urchins, sea cucumbers and of course, corals of varied types. And if you are lucky, you will get to swim with hawk bill turtles and best of all, dolphins.

Though not particularly known for its snorkelling sites, there are quite a few places in Goa where you can indulge in snorkelling. The exciting bit about snorkelling in Goa is that there are quite few shipwrecks submerged in and around the snorkelling sites. Additionally, since the waters are relatively free of rip tides, Goa is an excellent place to pick up the art of snorkelling and is ideal for beginners and experienced snorkellers alike.
