It is advisable to reach the place around 8 AM to witness the morning time rituals and enjoy the natural glory of the morning.

When you return to Kodaikanal, head to Coaker's Walk to enjoy the afternoon views of the place. It is said the walk is best done between 1 PM and 2 PM. Follow the walk up with a lunch at one of the popular restaurants in this hill station, like Tava and Royal Tibet. Coaker's Walk will present beautiful views !

After this action packed first half, head to your hotel to recharge your batteries. When its evening, spend some time at the Kodai Lake, boating, cycling or taking a leisurely walk.

Enjoy the momentous sunset at the Lake and follow it up with a hearty meal at one of the local restaurants.

Next morning, spend some time fishing or taking a walk around the lake if you want. As the day progresses, you can make a trip to Bear Shola Waterfall. Trust an old hand, if you are at the place during or after monsoons, you are in for one mindblowing sight. You can trek a little around the place, or just sit and observe tadpoles in the waterfall.

After spending some leisure time at the falls, you can explore nearby attractions like Lutheran Church and Chettiyar Park. From here, head to Berijam Lake, a 3 km long man made lake with crystal clear water which is a complete treat for the eyes. Since the lake is about 18km from the city, it is a good idea to take a cab or your own vehicle when heading here. Here is a picture of the gorgeous place:

Enjoy a monumental sunset at the lake while munching on local snacks and return to your hotel for the night. The next morning, head to popular tourist traps like G Dolphin Nose, Echo Point and Mountain View which are located nearby. Here is what they look like:

Next up, make your way to the Liril Falls and Vattakanal Falls nearby. Keep in mind, if you happen to head here in the hot season, they might be just a little trickle instead of a full blown waterfall. Have a local lunch at the waterfalls and walk to the 500 year old tree and La Charath Church located nearby.

Return to Kodaikanal in the evening and spend some time at the local markets buying chocolates and souvenirs, before you leave this magical place the next day.
