Now that you have 3 days in the mesmerising hill station of Munnar, rest assured you are in for a great leisurely holiday, with lots of scenic beauty thrown in. Start your tour in Munnar with a visit to the Kannan Devan Tea Museum, where you can sample the best offerings of the tea Munnar is famous for.

After spending some time at the place revelling in all the scenic beauty, head to Top Station, one of the most popular sightseeing spots around the place. Do make it a point to stop at Echo Point for gorgeous scenery and post card perfect shots.

While coming back, head to Mattupetti Dam, where you can boat and do horse riding. This is a great place to stop, specially if you are with kids, as it gives them enough activity and tourist masti! Here is a picture of the gorgeous dam:

In the evening spend some leisurely time roaming around your hotel or tie up those shoe laces and trek on uncharted territories! Dining at your in house restaurant is a good choice as there is little choice available when it comes to fine dine.

Next morning, you will head towards Marayoor to explore the other famous Munnar tourist places. Your first stop will be Tata Tea Museum, where you can gather an insight into the drink which is a daily staple for many. After this, head to Eravikulam National Park, where you can spot various animals like lion-tailed macaque, leopards, rare goats and tigers.

While travelling around the park, make it a point to see the Anamudi Peak, which is the highest mountain down south.

After all the adventure and excitement of being in a National Park, return to Munnar early evening. It is preferable to have lunch at local vendors or carry a packed one when on this trip, as there aren't many restaurants around. Stop at Naimakkadu Water Falls on the way, dip your feet in the cool water and let your exhaustion be washed away.

When you return to Munnar, spend some time shopping at local markets and pick up small gifts for your loved ones back home. Call it a night early as you must be pretty tired with all your exploration. Dream about the adventures awaiting you in Munnar on the third day!

Early next morning, head out for some adventure! Make a trip to Fun Forest Adventure Park, where you can do some rock climbing, rappelling, rope activities and much more!

After you have had your dose of adventure, head out to explore the nearby attractions like Atukkad Waterfalls, Pothamedu View Point and Hyde Park.

Also, check out these Munnar tour packages available and plan out your vacation. Make sure you pack your bags and don't leave anything at your hotel before you check out! Have a great trip.
