not so close to the city

by Ananya S on 24 Jan 2017 (Family Traveller)

while the hotel is 5 mins from the closest subway, it's still quite a distance from the city center and that means you waste a lot of time, energy and money traveling up and down everyday. Having said that, for the price it's a reasonable option with clean large rooms (I wouldn't call them suites though - they are just large rooms). The bathrooms and toilets make u feel like you are in a ship or train. Staff was helpful. The big downside of this hotel is that they don't have a proper kitchen and...

A concept that works...

by Kenneth B on 02 Dec 2016 (Business Traveller)

The Novotel Suites are what they are, a concept that gives a fair price and a higher standard of rooms, compared to what you pay for the stay. But, you need to accept that this can also be a place where you might not have a place to sit for your breakfast if you come at the peak minutes. Also the breakfast buffet is absolute nothing special, way to average, and remind you more about a breakfast at a hostel, not inspiring at all. Price compared to comfort this hotel is absolute okay.

Handy For The Rugby

by Ken C on 28 Nov 2016 (Family Traveller)

My 12 year old son and I stayed for two nights here when we went to see France play against the All Blacks at the Stade de France. The hotel was clean the rooms were spacious, the walk-in wet room was great and the breakfast was good. We got a bus right outside the hotel to the stadium and the Metro was 500m walk in the other direction (Porte de la Chapelle on the 12). The only knock was the area, there were armed police everywhere, they were very friendly but warned us against showing any va...

Not Suitable for Family with Children

by rujirac2014 on 25 Oct 2016 (Family Traveller)

The room was clean and have everything you need. However, the hotel is a bit stringy as we're a family of four people and we're staying for three nights but hotel only gave only a small water bottle for the whole stay. Also we have to asking for the 4th Towel everyday. The hotel didn't seem to be prepared with the breakfast time. Everything is ran out and not enough foods to go around including plates napkins and cutlery. I was surprised me as the hotel know the exact number of guests and shoul...

Good budget hotel, Bad area

by charleypope on 21 Oct 2016 (Family Traveller)

Summary - AMAZING breakfast buffet (well worth the extra cost when booking) - Rough, dodgy location (although, great cheap eats in this area) - Room has a notable sewer odour The breakfast buffet was amazing for the price, all hot drinks, cheese, charcuterie, french pastries, as well as eggs and sausages, and the usual breakfast sides. NOTE: Get to breakfast early. When walking from the nearest Metro (Porte De La Chapelle), you have a short walk through an industrial area, and under an overpass...
