Sur La Mer , goa

Had "penthouse" room. Wonderful view of pool and property. Five minute walk to beach, shops and restaurants. The food here is so good may not need any other eating establishment. Hosts Aneel (aka Raju) and Nayan extend warm hospitality and have prepared among best food we've had either in India or elsewhere. In addition, the hotel guests are varied and very interesting. Highly recommended!

Returned to Sur La Mer after a couple of years and was more than pleasantly surprised that this little gem in Morjim had scaled new peaks... What was remarkable was how Aneel,the owner...or should I say the consummate conductor perched on his alfresco bar stool, orchestrates a party every night around the pool surrounded by twinkling lights.All the guests join in with wonderful libations, great music,exquisite foods a plenty.Aneel has an expansive personality and genuinely makes each guest feel...

This small boutique ( for the lack of a better word ) hotel in the best of Goa’s locations , is something to be savoured and ........devoured. It is a treat unto itself and one needn’t and doesn’t want to do much other than savour the hotel and its ambience... with lovely super large Mediterranean rooms with period furniture from all over India , with commodious ever welcoming balconies ... to lounge in and enjoy with yoga in the mornings and drinks in the evenings. My mum and I stayed in Sur La Mer for 6 nights after it was recommended by a good friend of mine and it really didn't disappoint. Rajoo and Aneel were the stars of the hotel, drinks with both of them in the evening before our meal were great fun. Rajoo had so many stories to tell and Aneel was so welcoming and friendly, she looked after us so well. The waiters were also amazing, they catered to our every needs with always the biggest smile on their faces! We had the best room, in the Pent House...

Had the most fabulous time . Was there from 2-5th December 2018 . Raju the host was infectious and his wife made sure we had a great time . Took care of the smallest details and have really found a home in Goa . Thanx to all the staff too
