Ticks all the boxes!

by MYVIEWSWickfordEssex on 05 Oct 2016 (Friends Traveller)

Nice modern room, lovely staff nothing too much trouble. Stayed for three nights and ate in the restaurant on two of them, the food was excellent and service could not fault. Previously stayed in the Holiday Inn and value for money and service the Century wins. Yes has a few flights of stairs and not really a reception, the rooms are fine, how long do you stay in your room? Really not the end of the world! Breakfast was fine, served to you but again you can order as much as you want.

Short visit

by Jonas D on 24 Sep 2016 (Solo Traveller)

This hotel is quite good for a short visit. The check in and check out was slow. The rooms are small but clean and modern. The location is in the center of Hasselt. Staff is friendly. Breakfast was good but it isn't buffet.

Lovely hotel with modern rooms, not very well organised

We have just had 4 nights in the Century Hotel. The rooms are nice and modern, I thought the beds were comfortable. This meant there was only 2 singles and I had to spend t...

Bad price-quality relationship

by worldtravelista1993 on 02 Aug 2016 (Couple Traveller)

The double room was very small and not cosy. The two single beds (they told us that they didn't have rooms with a double bed) were not comfortable (moving over the floor the whole time and bad for your back). The breakfast was poor, not really what you would expect from a place that's also a restaurant.

Probably best for the young and fit, but I liked it anyway

Best points: good location, between the railway station and the Cultural Centre, which was where I was going; good atmosphere; friendly staff; clean; great cafe-restaurant. Only problem: it's an old building modernised. My room was fine for me but it was on the third floor up a steep, narrow flight of stairs. No lift. If you can handle the stairs it's a good place to stay in Hasselt (nice town BTW).
