The Gir Resort , Sasan Gir

The pictures posted online by the resort are misleading. The rooms are shabby and not well deigned or maintained. Basic amenities such as water heater also missing. Even charging ports next to beds are absent. Bathrooms stiking at all times and not well maintained. Definitely overpriced, and very dissappointing for what we paid. Only location is good, and food is decent. NOT RECOMMENDED.

Our stay at this resort was not comfortable. Cleanliness was missing. There was a lizard in our bathroom. Food was not at all good. In fact a family who had arrived before lunch were shocked to see that the same food was served to them at dinner. Though primely located I do not recommend this place at all.

Never before I have written a review but am forced to write because of the terrible experience I had in this hotel.The only good thing about this hotel is the location and greenery of hotel...thats it. The Rooms are pathetic. Torn and unwashed bedsheets,dirty pillow,and torn, unwashed blankets were provided to us.when requested hotel staff to change them they initially showed reluctance,giving one excuse or the other .. When I made hue and cry then they brought washed but torn bedsheets. Dining ...

Due to the jungle around there were lots of insect in the room and even outdoors, could hardly even open the windows. The rooms were clean, Food was average, Service was okay (not wow). You will have very little choice for food.
