Nicely funky

by Jeff G on 25 Jan 2017 (Business Traveller)

This place is different and not your average hotel. It has a very west coast and hippy vibe which was nice. The rooms are nice and the amenities were decent. Nice bedding and dogs all over. If you are allergic to dogs this might not be the place for you. There is a pizza place below that is pretty decent. Their departure policy could use some adjustments but that's another story. I'll stay here again if I can.

Great space, poor service

by Emily M on 25 Jan 2017 (Friends Traveller)

The hotel is in a great location and is nicely furnished and comfortable. Convenient, secured parking was helpful, though more expensive than other parking options. Would have been a great experience except that the coffee machine in our room was broken, and when we called the front desk in the morning to ask for some help, we were told we could buy coffee (at $2/cup) from the cafe in the lobby, despite the fact that when I checked in the receptionist spent 5 minutes telling me all about the fre...

Perfect in every way!

by smb6448 on 24 Jan 2017 (Family Traveller)

Stayed here with my daughter and granddaughter for a get away weekend. Everything was perfect -- room, pool, food both onsite and nearby! Location, location, location! Warm, friendly staff was the best!

However, several days we returned to our hotel room in the late afternoon, and our room had not been cleaned. And so, when we had hoped for a bit of solitude, we ended up cooling our heels in the lobby for 30-45 minutes. One of these days, we even put out the door sign saying the room was ready to be cleaned. It is too bad this detracted...

Pleasant, low-key hotel, great restaurants nearby

by Sue H on 19 Jan 2017 (Business Traveller)

This hotel is very convenient for the Gates Foundation and the Chihuly Glass Museum. It does not have fancy food - there is a lobby breakfast bar (but for jet-lagged visitors from the East Coast, it does open at 6am - a plus), and a cosy room serving pizza etc at night. But the hotel is walking distance from some other great restaurants (Toulouse Petit, Crow and a good Thai place). Also has bicycles for guest use.
