Wonderful location

by 717Dee_S on 25 Jan 2017 (Solo Traveller)

While the room I had was quite small, it was very clean, comfortable and had all the amenities that I required. There was a good variety of food on offer for breakfast (which was included). The staff on the front desk were very helpful. The location was perfect as it was only a short walk to many museums and galleries and the tram line was at the end of the street. The decor was distinctive and quirky.

Brilliant hotel

My boyfriend and I stayed for 2 nights and were so happy that our choice of hotel paid off. From the minute we arrived at the hotel we were greeted by friendly, helpful staff. The room, albeit small, was lovely and cosy for just the two of us. It's surprising how they can make great use out of small spaces, the room and bathroom were well decorated. We also loved the feel of the hotel itself, with the steep staircases and winding corridors. Breakfast was great if you like a continental buffet-st...

An Excellent Winter Break. Fantastic Location. Friendly and Attentive Staff.

It's my first time in Amsterdam, and I can tell you it won't be my last! The Max Brown hotel provided us with well needed comfort after long days exploring the city. The hotel is perfectly positioned on a beautiful side street, just off Museum Square and the Rijks Museum. If you're looking to do all the museums, then this really is the hotel for you! A stones throw away! The hotel is warm and inviting and couldn't be more Instagram worthy if it tried! Super stylish interiors, with a cool and r...

Good location and nice decor with comfort

by Gonçalo M on 22 Jan 2017 (Family Traveller)

If you want to take on Amsterdam's museum setting, this is a prime location, between upscale shopping street and the prime museums of Amsterdam. Room are decorated uniquely and although somewhat small, they're quite comfortable. The only thing that really let it down was breakfast. Poor options and cramped basement didn't make the best start of days for me. Anyway, I'd still choose it again and give a favourable reference to anyone asking my opinion about it.

We got back from our 3 night stay last night and we both enjoyed our trip so much!! To start the hotel was amazing! All the staff were so friendly and welcoming and gave us all the details we needed. They also assisted in helping us book tickets for some attractions we fancied going to. Our room was quite small but really quirky and contained everything we needed in it; even a basketball hoop!! The breakfast was delicious and had plenty of things to choose from. The hotel's location was ideal as...
