The Surya, Cochin , cochin

I had been so worried y some of the reviews I’d read that I cancelled my booking, only to find there was nothing else available for the three days I was to be in Cochin for work, so I re-booked. It’s a brilliant little place! Sure, the rooms are a bit rough and ready, but everything worked perfectly well, the staff were amazing (especially Bobby and Alex) and the food was superb. Stayed at the hotel for 3 days last week and found it to be neat and clean, though it’s an old property. The breakfast spread is decent but the serving staff needs to be trained to be more efficient .... the front office team was extremely courteous and helpful. Overall a good place to stay for a short trip ....

Very poor. Service disgusting. Had a horrible experience with Hotel surya. cheated in the last minute. Then what is the purpose of blocking hall for the function. We have invited everyone , we have taken the invitation cards.... terrible..dont do this to anyone else

As claimed, the hotel is not so close to the airport (almost 6 kms). It is located at Angamaly main road side. I reached early morning 4 a.m to the hotel. The check in was smooth however, the room boys were sleepy and it took some time for them to come and send my baggage to the room. The room looked old and needs some maintenance in the bath area. Overall stay was ok;

It's good hotel.Nice restaurant.Good for large group.You will get good veg dishes.Good thing is very near to Kochi airport.Good parking place.Service is bit slow but for the quality food it's nice place.
