The World Barbil , Barbil

It's like a lodge. One person at reception and ll serve breakfast (no buffet), water is red due to high iron content as no filtration. Once when Barbil was in boom during all illegal mining during UPA era in Central this hotel was in boom and people said in good shape.

Rooms are very spacious and maintained well. Quiter room as is way from town center. Staff are very polite and courtesies. Main entrance from road is pich dark at night with no proper lighting. Bigger name board with proper lighting required.

Though this is an old property but its indeed one of the best in Barbil town. The food being the strength of this property. I have visited this property 3-4 times over a period of 2-3 years, amazingly the food quality has always been the same. It has a wonderful lawn which is really great to sit for chit chats over a cup of tea/coffee. A good property over all.

The mining boom saw many fly by night hotels coming up in remote mining areas. However this one was a real gem. The others had soon gone to seed after the boom subsided. Excellent property located just on the outskirts of Barbil. Beautiful laid lawns ans a small garden. Staff really takes personalized care. Rooms have all amenities . A decent hotel In dusty town of Barbil. The hotel has a good lawn and spacious parking. In a place like Barbil, tariff looks to be on higher side. The rooms are OK but the restaurant food is really good. The complimentary breakfast is good and offers variety.
