Due to ongoing airspace restrictions across parts of the Middle East, flights to and from the region, including connecting journeys, may be affected. Passengers are advised to check their flight status with their respective airlines before proceeding to the airport.

  • Flights to and from Dubai continue to be impacted and will be resumed as per the prevailing safety conditions and necessary regulatory approvals.
  • Waivers - Full waiver on cancellations are being extended for travel to and from the Middle East, and Istanbul, until 31 March 2026.

  • Dubai International Airport has temporarily suspended all flight operations to and from the airport.
  • As a result, Air India and Air India Express flights to and from Dubai have been cancelled for the day.
  • We are offering all affected guests the flexibility to choose one of the following options at no additional cost:
  • Rebook to a future travel date, or
  • Cancel and receive a full refund
  • Air India Express' ad-hoc flight operations to and from Abu Dhabi, Ras Al Khaimah, and Sharjah will continue as announced.

  • Due to the airspace closure in Bahrain, Gulf Air's scheduled services to and from Bahrain International Airport remain temporarily suspended. The airline currently operates temporary commercial flights to and from Bahrain via King Fahad International Airport in Dammam.
  • Passengers can now book flights to Paris, Manila, Cairo, Casablanca, Chennai, Frankfurt, Nairobi, London, Mumbai and Bangkok via Dammam for travel.
  • Transport between Bahrain and Dammam will be arranged for passengers with confirmed tickets.
  • Gulf Air will provide assistance with Saudi transit visas to passengers travelling to and from Bahrain using Gulf Air-arranged land transportation.
  • Passengers travelling to Saudi Arabia as a final destination must hold a valid entry visa arranged independently.
  • Passengers on all Gulf Air flights until 31 March 2026 may request a full refund.
  • Passengers holding Gulf Air tickets with original travel dates until 15 April 2026 may rebook free of charge onto Gulf Air operated flights up to 30 June 2026.

  • Flights to/from Jeddah and Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Mumbai, Kochi and Kozhikode will continue to operate.
  • Flights to/from Doha, Riyadh and Kuwait are suspended until April 5, 2026.
  • Akasa Air has extended its cancellation/rescheduling charges waiver policy for passengers booked to or from these cities until April 5, 2026. Passengers may opt for a full refund, credited to the original source of payment within 7 days, or reschedule their travel at no additional cost.

  • Malaysia Airlines has further extended the temporary suspension of its Doha (DOH) services until 15 April 2026.
  • The airline has also increased widebody capacity between Asia and Europe from 12 March 2026 to support onward journeys and reunite families, with flights operating on carefully planned alternative routes that avoid affected regions.
  • All other services, including Jeddah (JED), Madinah (MED), London (LHR) and Paris (CDG) continue to operate as scheduled.

  • Guests travelling to/from the Middle East holding Kenya Airways tickets with original travel dates 1st March – 30th April 2026 may rebook free of charge onto other Kenya Airways operated flights.
  • This applies to tickets of original issue on/before 15th April 2026.
  • Fare difference may apply if there is a change in routing. Rebooking must be in the same booking class as originally booked, or the lowest available booking class within the same cabin. Rebooking in J or Y RBDs will not be permitted. New travel dates must be made and tickets re-issued by 15th April 2026.
  • Guests on cancelled flights may request a full refund.
  • Wholly unused tickets: Full refund without penalty.
  • Partially used tickets: If the return journey has not commenced, refund will be calculated as half of the round-trip fare plus unused taxes and charges.
