Very basic hotel
by Celina W on 04 Nov 2016 (Couple Traveller)
We stayed here for a week from 16/10/2016 to 23/10/2016. Cheap hotel, and no frills. Not the cleanest hotel, and I'm fairly sure that all the bites on my arm and my partner's arm was from bed bugs. We had fun trying to guess how the housecleaning worked - they don't seem to change your mugs at all whilst there, and we were lucky when they re-stocked our toilet roll. Breakfast wasn't great, but at least it's provided. It was what we were expecting, basic and cheap. It was close to our friends wh...

Truly an awful hotel. Filthy, with dirty walls and wet carpet in the room. Rooms are "cleaned" with no vacuum or cleaning solution, just a wet rag. My room had a used tea cup with someone else's tea still in it. When I asked for a new one, the maid took it to my bathroom sink and rinsed it out and handed it back to me. I brought my own sheets- the ones on the bed were full of holes.
Clean, tidy and simple hotel
by Jojofufu on 19 Sep 2016 (Couple Traveller)
We stayed there for 3 nights. Location wise is nice. 10 mins walk to the sightseeing location Yonghe Temple. Many restaurants nearby in the old Hutong . The room is small but simple. The toiletry, TV ( we didn't watch TV though), tea, coffee are all there. The hotel doesn't have fridge in the room so no minibar.
run down but livable

I stayed here for 5 nights, and while I was expecting the worse, it really wasn't all that bad. Sure, the toilet light was dim, the kettle kinda dirty, the beds hard as rocks, and a weirdly placed sink (outside of the bathroom, mind you), but it was all honestly not the worst. The beds were clean, the toilet working, and there was a barely-working AC. Honestly, the breakfast may be the worst of the entire experience, but can be easily dodged as there are numerous other local restaurants serving ...
The hotel where we can sleep as long as possible
by toruk820 on 26 May 2016 (Solo Traveller)
Since the hotel is located on old "Hutong", we don't have to shut down sleep by car horn. They offer either single room and double room but there is no bath tub in single room. A few stuff speak English and not so far from metro station. There a lot of small restaurants around the hotel and almost restaurants are not so expensive. However, I don't recommend just left one in front of the hotel. They brought me the dishes I never ordered and the bill was very expensive. Besides, I saw many partie...
