Dole Dossers, prostitutes and fags

by Soothsayerman on 20 Dec 2016 (Solo Traveller)

Horrific hell hole, Filthy hallways, carpets had dust starting to pile up,room stank of smoke, dirty carpet, dirty bedding valance etc, dark miserable hole Every other entrant at reception were carrying large bags containing alcohol. People hanging out of windows puffing on cigarettes, what appeared to be the local hooker in reception, then the front door then later on the street. Left asking for a refund after 5 mins, go figure what my 40 bought, yes 5 minutes in the education of what a "hotel"...

Very Basic Hotel with Rude staff

by Familiesandfun on 14 Dec 2016 (Friends Traveller)

When I pay £40 a night for a hotel I do not expect toiletries in the bathroom hairdryers in the rooms and all the airs and graces of a starred hotel. But I do expect basics working light bulbs flushing toilets and taps that do not leak. There was a large flat screen TV on the wa...

by Lugtwm on 27 Nov 2016 (Friends Traveller)

I don't write this review lightly but, without exception, this really is the worst hotel I've ever stayed at. I booked a twin room for myself and my dad as we were attending a family get together. On arriving I would best describe this hotel as tired. After checking in we got to our room only to find the room key was extremely temperamental and took dozens of attempts to work. I kind of wish now that it hadn't. After entering the room we were hit with the overwhelming smell of stale smoke. I'v...
