about trekking at kurseong

Ambotia: Ambotia Shiv Mandir is situated amidst orange orchards near the Ambotia Tea Estate. The Ambotia landside here drops a whopping 3,280 ft to the river Balasun far below.

Bagora: Bagora, also called Zero Point, is the place with the highest elevation in Kurseong with some fabulous views.

There are several other soothing walks, past the main school campuses, through the leafy hillsides. An excellent choice is the walk to Nagri Spur, with its stunning views of the tea gardens and forests. Castleton Tea Estate fringes this part of Kurseong. You can also hike through the forests up the main ridge to Ghoom.
