Know More About Tubelight Movie’s Shooting Locations

The movie Tubelight, starring Bollywood megastar Salman Khan, Sohail Khan, Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub among others is a directorial venture of ace film-maker Kabir Khan. The film is based on the movie ‘A Little Boy by Alejandro Monteverde’ and explores the relationship between two brothers and the love for their families. Tubelight’s shooting places in India are - across Ladakh in Jammu & Kashmir, Manali in Himachal Pradesh and Mumbai in Maharashtra.

Set against the backdrop of the 1962 Sino-Indian War, the movie has been majorly shot in the rough terrains of Ladakh and Manali, some of the famous hill stations in India. Due to low oxygen on these high altitude locations, the stars, staff members, and stuntmen had breathing difficulties and had to use oxygen masks to sustain in such conditions. For almost 3 months, they braved these harsh weather conditions to complete the shoot of the film.
