I stayed at the Vida Baires twice last December. Because of the busy time of year I was unable to stay at the hotel the full sixteen days over Christmas which I wanted to . The Hotel is a very Grand old hotel close to Santa Fe Avenue. I was given a very large single room with a balcony overlooking the street on the fourth floor, no lift for guests only the cleaner and luandry. Their website looks great - and the room photos look really lovely - it seemed a great choice for our last night in Argentina. DON'T BE DECEIVED. We booked a good few months in advance. Upon arrival, we were totally disillusioned..it was like we were in the wrong place!! The rooms were horrible. Dark and dindgy, not like the nice bright rooms on the website. The room we were shown to had just a glass door and with a net curtain for supposed privacy - however you could even see in to the room...

I have stayed in this hotel 5 nights and had a great time. The plus about this hotel is that the staff is lovely (especially Sabrina) and you get a warm at home feeling. Location is great! you can get to many bars and clubs just by walking and there is a metro station nearby and the bus stops are practically infront of the hotel. The area is safe to walk at all times and there are plenty of taxi;s available. Downside is that the rooms have no tv and the shower/toilet is across the hall - its ...

We stayed here twice during our recent trip to BSAS. Our luggage got lost and the manager, Sabrina, was absolutely wonderful with calling the airline and following up with them. She truly went out of her way time and time again. Her English is excellent, and she is knowledgeable about the hospitality industry. Enjoyed the resident cat, Renata, and visiting rabbit! Be aware that there is no lift for guests (a vintage one for luggage) and the stairs are winding. The front rooms can be noisy and ...

Hi I stayed for 2 nights in Vida Aires, ( the location was great ), very authentic. and 2 mn walk from a train station. ( It is 10 mn walk from Recoletta station) The manager Sabrina, was very very helpfull. The hotel is an older style, and some of the room are quite small, but it is a very clean and charming property. I will come back if I stay in BA
