Villa Bellagio - STOMP

by jipod on 19 Nov 2016 (Couple Traveller)

We were woken up in the morning by a cacophony of sounds that is almost impossible to describe. Yet I'll do my best below. The location of the noise seemed to be omnipresent - above, below and to either side of our heads. bang bang bang bang ... drrrrrrrrrrrrrr...wallop wallop... you couldn't make it up... crash crash.... bang bang bang bang. A bang at the door - your head darts towards it, immediately follows a hammering from above - you try to locate it, a drilling from below - you try to dete...

Spelling mistake

by Meric P on 16 Nov 2016 (Family Traveller)

I think the staff mistakenly labelled this place as a 'hotel', when in actual fact it's much more of a 'hostel'. If it was sold to me as a hostel I would have understood the condition of the place, the attitude of the staff and the quality of the breakfast. It's not a bad place at all, it's really trying to be something, the staff are friendly, and the beds are surprisingly very comfy, but... Don't go by the pictures on their site. The location being near rail station is the only plus point. The rooms are unclean. The sheets definitely looked used and unchanged. The persons in the reception hardly speak English. The fire alarm went off in the morning but nobody had a clue what went wrong or we were not even offered explanation for the supposedly false alarm. The rooms are located in cramped corridors. No lift facility. Did not check the breakfast, but I would have strong doubts on the hygiene. We went during the Euro Cu...

Villa BellagiNo: Dirty, unorganised but cheap.

by ChloeKay on 28 Jun 2016 (Couple Traveller)

As students, my boyfriend and I chose to stay here as a budget Paris hotel. When we arrived no one was at the desk for at least 10 minutes. We were given a room which had not been cleaned and still had dirty towels and bedding from previous guests. The next room was really run down. The bed was missing a leg and propped up by can of pasta sauce. The bathroom smelt like mould and had a filthy valve above the toilet. The room overlooked a filthy roof that had used sanitary products on it. The only...

Not what it looks like

by Sabrina F on 17 Jun 2016 (Couple Traveller)

Booked 3 nights for let's say a hell of a lot of money (to be fair around euros times) while the room it's self is clean, comfortable and bright.. it's completely misrepresented in the pictures online. Stayed in room 2 massive cracks on the tiles on the floor could easily cut your self walk bear foot. Sink in the barhhroom leaks everywhere. Some essentials missing kettle, phone utilities. Walls aren't sound proof meaning you can hear everything going on outside. We were next the the house keepi...
