Wonderful family hotel

by Travellermom0571 on 12 Jan 2017 (Family Traveller)

i love this Hotel, they have a big room to accomodate my family of 5. That was a japanese room, with tatami, and we slept on futons. which was a great experience, especially in this town. They also provided the pajamas, and tea making facility. The bento breakfast was nice and delicious, and came in handy. Stayed in end of December, we experienced the snow falling in early morning. Such an awesome view for the kids, since we came from a tropical country. The location was very strategic, bus stop...

We stayed as a family of four in December. Checkin was quick. As stated by previous posts, we had to make our beds. It's a breeze. The room was clean and quiet. A special mention to the breakfast of bento boxes delivered to the room at the time chosen by us. They were delicious and plentiful. We could not finish them. Bento boxes were different every day. My wife used the onsite onsen and loved it. The hotel's location is very convenient. We walked to the main street where the departm...

Good value and location

by Ahmad I on 28 Dec 2016 (Family Traveller)

We arrived around 3 pm. We took a taxi from Kyoto Station and it cost us around 1200 Yen. Got the room immediately at level 8. No view from our room as it faces another building. However, it is quite spacious for a party of 4 (2A2C) We have to make our own futon bedding but the instructions are quite clear. There is a laundry room at level 6 with washer and dryer which requires 100 Yen coin to operate (200 Yen for washer, 100 Yen for 10 mins of dryer). The onsen room on level 1 is quite nice to ...

Wonderful stay!

by mamarellaa on 12 Dec 2016 (Family Traveller)

We spent 3 nights in Village Kyoto. First the location is fantastic - from Omiya station, a short walk less than 5 mins and you are there. 3 best things about Village Kyoto: 1. location it's located less than 5 mins from Omiya station (to go everywhere), Shijio Omiya (to go Arashiyama), bus stop (in front of Daiso to go Kiyomizu-dera) 2. indoor onsen the locker and the dressing area was huge and clean with thick luxurious carpet. A full equipped dresser with wash basins and hair dryers, ...

Good location

by yoidan on 06 Dec 2016 (Couple Traveller)

We had 4 nights in Village Kyoto and find that its location is very convenient. It is a short walk to the Omiya Station (for the subway); Shijio Omiya Station (for the Randen to Arashiyama); and to a few bus stops. We bought the 1day bus pass daily to move around Kyoto. From the hotel we have buses that take us directly to Ginkakuji, Kiyomizudera, Gion, Kyoto Station, to name a few places. So very happy with the location. Room is spacious and clean. We had the triple room although there were on...
