November is a beautiful time to visit Shimla, Kullu and Manali as the weather is not too cold. You will require light woollens and a jacket as there is a nip in the air. Once you reach Kullu, you will find it bustling with activities as it is a hotspot for mountaineering, rafting and paragliding.

From here on, as move towards Manali, you will be greeted by many beautiful sights and winding roads. Check out this extensive itinerary for Manali to get the best out of your trip. Manali is also home to many prominent Hindu temples as well as Tibetan monasteries.

For your stay in Shimla, you can take a look at this travel guide as there are so many activities to do and places to shop and eat in the city. From lip-smacking street food to adventure sports, Shimla has something for everyone.

But if you are looking for a more offbeat Shimla experience, then seeing the hill station through a local's eye would be the best bet. Get a funky haircut, sample scrumptious cakes at Embassy or walk uphill to the Kali Bari Temple.

Here's wishing you a happy journey! Be sure to write back with your experience.
