Kamal Basati is a Jain Temple, which is located within the Belgaum Fort. Around 7 km from the city is the temple of Kamal Basati, which is a Jain temple located within the walls of Belgaum fort. On the Pune-Bangalore National Highway is situated the Shree Revan Siddeshwar Temple. In a hill cave, this temple is a must-visit. Those with historic tastes or a penchant for nature would do well to head to explore the Belgaum (Belagavi) Fort and drink in the beauty of places like Anshi National Park, Vajrapoha and Gokak Falls, and hilly jungles of Jamboti. Belgaum Fort dates back to the 1519 and is situated in the centre of the city. On a visit to this destination, do not forget to savour the mouth-watering local delicacies. A sweet made from milk known as Kunda is a famous dessert and must be relished. Karadant and Ladagi laadu are the other two famous sweet dishes of the region.

Went to belgaum from Delhi via train with my wife.Belgaum is a good city with proper in-roads and traffic system. Belguam is a shopping destination for clothes and other household items. Food and people are also friendly.

One of the best city in Karnataka. 2nd capital of Karnataka. Less pollute. Awesome weather. Superb roads. Lot of historical places and adventures places.
