Palanpur plays a substantial role in the history of India. Legends have it that once upon a time, the city was a province under the Paramara clan of Rajputs. The grandeur of this princely state was fortified by the seven gates providing the only means of an avenue, the ruins of which still stand reminding us of the glory of the olden times. Few of these gates are named as "Shimla Gate", "Delhi Gate", "Meera Gate" and "Gathaman Gate(Darwaja)". A trip to this city will let you take a step back in time and experience the wonders the bygone era.
it's a god place but no place to visit in this city, other wise public is good enough, they are humble and cooperative, also they are helpful overall good experience.
