So you’ve reached, unpacked, relaxed - and that itinerary is eagerly waiting to guide you through an amazing trip. But how should you get started? Move around and explore the city with the following different means of travel within Dwarka:

  • Bus

Buses in Dwarka may not be very fancy or metropolitan, but they sure are the cheapest way to travel around the city. Fares can be as low as INR 5, and usually locals will willingly help you regarding which bus to take for what route. They are usually a slower means to get around, so make sure you opt for these with ample time on your hands.

  • Autorickshaw

Perhaps the most reliable means of transport within Dwarka, they’re also the quickest to take you to your desired destination, especially during night.
Autorickshaws in Dwarka do not run on meter, so it would be better for you to fix a rate with them in advance. You can expect to pay around INR 12 per km while you travel around the city. Who knows, they might even give you some valuable local insights?

  • Cycle Rickshaw

A tad slower and cheaper than
autorickshaws, these cycle variants are ideal if you’re travelling a short distance between two nearby sightseeing spots. If you’re carrying luggage or are travelling with children, this might not be your best option.

Of course, if you’re travelling in your own vehicle, you can drive around the city. But it is ideally recommended to steer clear of all the narrow lanes in the main city, where parking too might be a bit of a challenge. With this sorted, you really won’t be spending too much time sitting idle. Let your spirit free with the aura of constant celebration in this holy town!
