Won't it be better if you could mix your religious visit with some fun? Well, if so then Tirupati offers various auditoriums and movie halls which form the art and entertainment hub of the city. Here are a few popular ones to choose from.

  • Auditorium

    There famous auditoriums are Sri Mahati Auditorium, Sadas Hall and auditorium at Shilparamam where various cultural activities are held. Sri Mahati Auditorium is owned and operated by Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam (TTD) and is exclusive for cultural and spiritual activities.
    Sadas Hall cultural events are held under the auspices of Dharma Prachara Parishad. The auditorium serves as a stage for various cultural events that include dramas, dances, harikathas, bhajans depicting the puranas and mythologies from Hindu scriptures. The Shilparamam is a joint set up by the Central and the State Tourism Departments which provides a multipurpose auditorium conducting cultural programmes in the evenings on weekends.

  • Movie Halls

    The city has close to 25 cinema halls including a Multiplex screening movies in Telugu, English and Hindi languages. A few popular ones are
    IS cinema hall, PGR movie land (PK street), CVS cinema (PK street), Big Cinemas (DR Mahal Road) and Sandhya Cinema (PK street).
