Shirdi is predominantly a religious place. So the place lacks a specifically aesthetic culture. Still, for the art enthusiasts, Shirdi is not a disappointing place after all. Let's have a brief peep into the options Shirdi gives you in terms of museums-

  • Dixit Wada Museum

The museum is located in the middle of the Sansthan complex. The exclusive black and white photographs of Sai are sure to inspire reveration not just in devotees but even in the most casual of tourists. His katni (read robe), leather padukas, even his utensils and gramophone records are on display for spectators to behold.
    The passes to
Sansthan Temple can be arranged online too. This saves you from standing in long queues. The precious items such as jewellery, wallets or mobiles must be kept outside in a locker by the darshan-seekers.
The museum remains open between 6am to 10pm.

So, if you are searching for the relics of Sai's life and deeds, then Dixit Wada is a place you cannot afford to give a miss. And today and forever, the indelible mark of Sai's nobility would continue to influence you.
