Unlike the glitz and glamour of most hill stations, Ramnagar has got no big brands when it comes to food. Nevertheless, this sleepy, dreamy town won’t disappoint you on that front. Head off to any of these to relish some piping hot food in the slightly chilling (almost always) air of Ramnagar:

The multi-cuisine restaurant in the hotel premises is one of the best places to eat out in the town. Order anything from Chinese, Punjabi or North Indian, they serve the best of it here. A 10 minute ride from the city centre, it’s picturesque location is an add on to the delicious aroma that’s nothing less than inviting.

Dinner for two at Escape Corbett will cost you somewhere near INR 200 and INR 500.

Timings: 10 am to 10 pm

Near Garjiya Temple

Ramnagar Ranikhet Road

Telephone: +91-5947-284334/+91-90124-80024

  • KMVN Restaurant

Located right in the premises of KMVN Guest House, the expert chefs dole out some really tasty Indian and Continental fare here. Quite easy on pocket, the food here is more than just delicious.

A meal here costs somewhere between INR 100 and INR 250.

Timings: 10 am to 10 pm

Address: Ramnagar

Village Dhikuli

Telephone: +91-5942-231436/236956

  • Govind Restaurant

If that sweet tooth of yours needs some real relish, Govind Restaurant is just the place for you. With a famous sweet and pastry shop in the front, it comes as a welcoming surprise. But before you start off with the desserts, do gorge yourself on some biryani, chicken tikka, stuffed tomatoes and the mouthwatering mushroom curry.

A meal at Govind’s costs between INR 50 and INR 200.

Timings: 10 am to 9 pm

Address: Ramnagar Ranikhet Road

One of the best things about Ramnagar is that you’ll always have the option of steaming hot momos, with vendors selling those at almost every corner. There are some eateries as well where you can get the famous North Indian snacks like pakoras, samosas, choley bhature and more.
