  • Mahabaleshwar

    17 km away from Panchgani the enticing hill town, Mahabaleshwar is located. Mahabaleshwar with its waterfalls and craggy hills is a canvas of vibrant colours and subtle hues. Enthralling and captivating, it was referred to as Malcolm Perth during the English rule.
    Touted as a devout center, Mahabaleshwar has a lot more on its platter. An ancient temple is the basis of an intriguing legend where the source of River Krishna and four other rivers is a spout from the mouth of a statue of a cow. Said to be the summer capital of Bombay during the British era, it is marked by various 'points' which offer spectacular views of the majestic Western Ghats.
    Easiest way to reach Mahabaleshwar from Panchgani is by a cab or by a bus and it would take you an hour or so to reach.

  • Pune

    Wai is only 13.8 km away from Panchgani. It can be said to be located on the outskirts of the Panchgani city. Being an easy drive down, it just cannot be missed. Situated on the basin of the river Krishna, it is a bestowed with the charismatic seven ‘ghats' including the Gangapuri, Madhi Aali, Ganpati Aali, Dharmapuri, Brahman Shahi, Ramdoh and Bhimkund.
    It is a revered place for the Hindus because of the numerous temples located on these ghats. Important temples in the region includes Kanteshwar, Chakreshwar, Kaleshwar and Chimneshwar in Brahman Shahi ghat, Rameshwar temple, Chilavali Devi temple and Ramkund in Ramdoh ghat and Mahalaxmi temple in Dharmapuri.
    Also, with these ghats being encircled by charming hillocks and waterfalls complementing the splendor, tourists rarely miss visiting this place once in Panchgani.
