The trek starts 91 km from the centre of the town and passes through beautiful pine forests and valleys. Pindari glacier that lies between Nandakot and Nanda Devi mountain is also a sight to remember for a lifetime.

There are no operators as such which organise all the trekking related activities for you. You should choose the treks according to your capabilities. You will get all the gear easily available at different shops in the town. You can take help from different locals for getting more information and tips for these treks.

Along with that, you can also try mountain biking which essentially happen through the different resorts that are located in the town. Ask for all the details from the hotel that you are planning to stay at.
