To be honest with you my friend, the more time you spend in Bangkok, the less it is. However, when work and home beckons and you are on a whirlwind tour of the City of Angels, planning always helps! Read on and find out, how to make the best of your stay in Bangkok:

  • Day 1

If there is one thing you just can’t afford to miss in Bangkok, it has to be the array of beauteous Buddhist Temples. First thing in the city, head to
Grand Palace and check out the iconic Wat Phra Kaew (Emerald Buddha), Wat Pho (Reclining Buddha) and
Wat Arun (Temple of Dawn). When done with the same, explore the huge Grand Palace compound. When this morning of hectic exploration tires you out, visit a spa in the noon and get a few luxurious therapies Bangkok is famous for to recharge your batteries. Post lunch, check out the museums of Bangkok like Royal Barges Museum and Bangkok National Museum. When the evening comes by, visit one of the popular night markets or malls in Bangkok for some retail therapy. Close your day sampling the yummy street food of Bangkok or head to a fine dining restaurant for a romantic meal!

  • Day 2

If you are with kids, take your pick from one of Bangkok’s numerous amusement parks like Safari World and Siam Ocean World and spend the day exploring the amazing delights these wonderful places manage to pack in! If you are inclined towards Bangkok’s traditional arts, check out National Art Gallery or Kathmandu Art Gallery. Enjoy a slice of Bangkok’s famous nightlife as dark skies cloak the twinkling city lights or simply head to one of the floating markets of the place for an experience
that is one of its kinds!

  • Day 3

On your third day in the City of Angels, its time to head out! Venture to quaint lands like that of  Samut Prakan (30 km), Amphawa (63 km). If you want to partake the sun, surf, sand and beer, head to the silvery beaches of Pattaya, a 100 km from the city. You can easily reach Pattaya which is well connected to Bangkok by road. If you want to reach Pattaya in style, fly to the U-Tapao Airport. Soak up on all the fun at these places to close a vacation in Bangkok in the best possible way.

Plan your day beforehand, check out the best modes to travel and you are all set for some rock and roll in Bangkok! Enjoy!
