Don't want to miss out on the best of what Bikaner has to offer? Read on and find out how to make sure your time in this exotic city gets utilised in the best possible way!

  • Day 1

Start your morning with the exploration of the Lalgarh Palace, followed by a visit to Junagarh Fort. Once you are done with these, make your way to Prachina Museum in the Junagarh Fort Complex for a brush with history. You might want to give sightseeing a break in the afternoon to save yourself from the harsh sun. In the evening, make your way to the Bikaner Fort  and spend some time exploring the place. As the sun sets, head to Mahatma Gandhi Road nearby and pick up the leather mojris and sweets and snacks Bikaner is famous for. Close the day early as you have some action to look forward to the next morning.

  • Day 2

Be the early bird and try to leave your hotel by 7 am to visit Deshnoke, which is at a 40 km distance from Bikaner. Visit the Karni Mata Temple here to pay your respect to the Goddess of Rats. It will be breakfast time by the time you return so make sure you work up a gigantic appetite on the way back. Visit the National Camel Research Centre for a fascinating experience. Return to hotel for lunch and head for a camel safari in the evening. You can arrange the same at your hotel Travel Desk. Enjoy an evening of cultural song and dance in the middle of golden sands and return to your lodging for the night.

  • Day 3

Head to places around Bikaner, Pushkar and Ajmer located at a distance 250 km and 274 km respectively. Pay your respects at the Brahma Temple and Ajmer Sharif and proceed back home. Have a great journey!

If you have plenty of time at hand or just want to extend your holiday lured by the cultural design and flavours of Rajasthan, head out to Jodhpur (250 km) or Mandawa (200 km). Enjoy your vacations to the fullest!
