Once you are well settled with all your bags lying in the closet of your chosen hotel in Indore, you must head out to explore the beautiful city. Now the most problematic thing that you will come across while doing that is where to start from. Well, I am here only for that my friend. Let’s take a quick look at what all you can do in what order during your vacation.

  • Day 1

Now you should always start with exploring the essence of the city. What is that, you might ask. Nice question. That is the grandeur that the city has to offer in the form of all the monuments located here. The monuments that are a reminder of how grand the lifestyle of the Holkar Dynasty was will give you a treat like no other attraction in the city. Be it the Rajwada or the Lal Bagh Palace or the Krishnapura Chatris, they all are as charming as anything and you would not want to miss any of them. If you don’t want to explore all the elements of the history of the place at the original location and want to look at them set in defined premises then Central Museum is the place for you. Here you will find the artefacts from historic and pre-historic eras and will be a great showcase of what Indore’s history has to offer.

Now once you have explored so much, you must be really hungry by now. For that, you should definitely head to the
Chappan Dukan, the ultimate hub for any foodies where you will find street food of all kinds at 52 shops. Isn’t that amazing? What you shouldn’t miss is the Bina Tala Samosa and the Bhel Puri which are few of the specialities.

Once the taste buds are treated with the most amazing food, you should head for exploring the amazing nightlife that the city has to offer. Be it
On the Rocks or the famous Quorom Lounge, the city does not look like it has such a rocking nightlife but these places have got something completely different to say.

After all this, you wouldn’t have the courage to do anything else so just head to the hotel that you have chosen after such long phases of research.

  • Day 2

Now is the time to explore the religious aspect of the city. That is only possible through the magnificent structures for temples in Indore. You have to have to pay visit to the beautiful Annapurna Temple, Kanch Mandir, Sitlamata Mandir and also the temple which is famous for having the biggest Ganpati idol in the world. Accept it that by now, you have experienced what Indore is all about. Are you nodding your head in agreement? If yes, you need to really think about your itinerary my friend. You missed the most important aspect of any trip that one can ever think of. For that, Indore has so much to offer to you that you will run out of time but the options wouldn’t end. Try all the markets in the city and you will have the time of your life. Sitlamata Bazaar, MT Cloth Market, Treasure Island, pick any one or visit all of them for the ultimate shopping experience.

  • Day 3

The days seem to be smaller when you are in a city such as Indore. But two days are going to be enough to experience whatever the city essentially has to offer. But now it’s the time to visit the attractions around Indore. And what better way of doing that than going to the beautiful Ralamandal Wildlife Sanctuary. Take a look at different varieties of animals in their natural habitat. Get on to a self-owned or a hired four wheeler vehicle and explore fauna species such as Leopard, Sambhar, Blue Bull, Jarak, Bhedki (Barking Deer) and flora including Teak, Saja, Eucalyptus and Babul Bamboo. The forest Rest House here is available for accommodation and can be used if you plan on staying here for more than a day.

If you cover all this while on a trip to this beautiful city then be sure that you have done it all. Well, if you have something to add to it, do let me know.
