Is travelling to Kochi on your mind? If yes, then you must plan to go there in the best season so that you can enjoy to the fullest. Kochi usually has a hot and humid weather throughout the year, however, in the early winters the weather is pleasant enough for travelling to the city. Are you curious enough to know more? Then read on:

  • Summers

From March to June the city experiences summers. During these months the temperature reaches a maximum of 37 degree Celsius and the climate is usually quite warm and humid which will make you sweat a lot. Exploring the beaches and other outdoor activities are almost impossible in the scorching heat. So, we can say that a midsummer’s vacation in Kochi is not a very good idea.

  • Winters

Winter days fall between October and February. It is a nice time to visit the city during these days as the temperature remains cool and dry. There is a gradual fluctuation in the temperature from 17 degree Celsius to 33 degree Celsius. It is an ideal time for honeymoon in the Kochi as well as water sports can be enjoyed to the fullest in this time.

  • Monsoons

So what if it rains so heavily, the sightseeing is worth enjoying during monsoons in Kochi. July to September is the rainy season in the city. The greenery is washed up and the milieu is very pristine in these months. However, indulging in water sports won't be a very good idea because the water level rises during monsoon.

So, the best time to visit the city starts from early October to March. Try to get your hands on the tickets in September itself to get the best deals. In these months you can enjoy water sports, stay in houseboats and watch the locals fishing in the massive Chinese fishing nets.
