A place that changes its colour every season, Chail spoils you with its choices and if time permits, you will feel like spending the entire year itself in Chail. Every season is a delight for tourists with a total different experience every time. Use the freedom to plan your trip any time of the year except for the monsoon season when there are chances of landslides and road blockage due to heavy rains. So after avoiding the rainy season, we have summer, autumn and winter:

  • Summer:

It is the time for green to paint the hills and trees with its various hues. From April to June, the day temperature is a pleasantly around 25 degrees celsius though at night it might drop below 15 degrees celsius. Tourists, trying to escape the summer heat, throng Chail during this favourable weather, so tickets should be preferably booked in advance. Once you get there, you can make the best use of your vacation as summer days are comparatively longer. Pack some light woollen clothes and your most comfortable pair of shoes, as you will not want to stop walking through the enchanting mountain trail.

  • Autumn:

If orange tinted with earthy brown and crimson is the colour for you, try visiting Chail in between mid-August and mid-October and you will fall in love with its mesmerising carpet of golden dry leaves on the sidewalk. Fresh autumn wind blows through these months and you might feel the dip in the air so, don't forget to take your woollen clothes.

  • Winter:

October to February is winter wonderland in Chail. Even though the temperature is harsh, hovering below 9 degrees celsius, come prepared with woollen caps and gloves and bask in the white glory of Chail snow. Do fulfill your wish of making a snowman and play with snowballs!

Check your yearly schedule, your favourite colour, match its hues with the colours of Chail and get ready for the Chail ride. Don't forget the woollens and if you are an avid photographer, no matter what the season is, picturesque Chail will never disappoint you. So, do bring your camera and keep lots of space in the memory card.
