Shirdi, being in Maharashtra, has more or less, a pleasant coastal climate-that is, neither hot nor cold. This being a major influencing factor, there are several amazing places to visit in Shirdi, as such, is visited by pilgrims throughout the year.

  • Summer
The months from April-June are relatively hot, with temperature between 22-38 degrees Celsius. Still, nothing as severe as the scorching summers experienced in North India.

  • Monsoon
July and August are the wettest seasons in Shirdi and the rest of Maharashtra. The rain-gods shower their bounty on the populace and the pleasant breeze flowing all across fills in charm and vigour the hearts of people.

  • Winters
The months between November to February receive a cold spell, though again the chill is not as harsh as that of northern regions. Expect a temperature between 12-34 degrees Celsius.

It is generally advisable that the interested tourists choose the monsoon months of June, July or August as the preferred and most suitable time to explore the holy land of Shirdi. The drizzling and lovely breeze flowing all over the region seems like welcoming you with both arms, and you will love to immerse yourself in the spiritual aura that surrounds Shirdi.

Another lucrative option is the festival season, that is, anytime when the major local festivals like Ramanavami, Vijaydashmi or Gurupurnima are being celebrated.
