A venture that goes with the maiden name Billing Adventures of Himachal, organises travel expeditions and activities based on where you are headed within these mountains. An interesting activity that has gained a slow but heady momentum among most travel junkies and freaks headed here is the paragliding activity organised by them. There is also a Paragliding Pre World Cup to look forward to, and is almost looked upon as a form of sport. Here's a map to help mark out the other places to visit around Billing based on the distance from Billing.

There are several transport options that one can avail - from buses to private cabs, connecting trains, et al. However, the most popular (and convenient in a sense) option is by road, via a bus. There are several buses that run from New Delhi's demarcated bus areas in ISBT, on a daily basis. Getting to the stop an hour or two before a chosen time slot of departure serves you well, as you get the leisure of choosing your seat among other similar preferences.
Hope your expedition to the hills goes great. Do tell. Cheers!

The best way to go to billing is via road. Bus can be taken from ISBT kashamiri gate to Baijnath. Volvo option is available to Baijnath now. You can try HRTC's online portal to book a ticket : http://hrtc.gov.in/hrtctickets/Default.aspx or travelyaari.com. There are couple of A/c buses also available on this route. Once you reach Baijnath, you will have three option to go to Bir-Billing. 1) By Toy train. This will add fun to you journey. You can get the train Baijnath Mandir railway stations and next stop is Aheju which is in Bir.Then you can start your Journey to billing which is 14 KM. You may hire taxi for this. 2) By Local bus. You can get down at Bir and then you can start your Journey to billing which is 14 KM. You may hire taxi for this. 3) You can hire taxi from baijnath itself.
