Before you start planning for a trip to Jaipur, you should pause and think of a vacation only during the time of the year that suits your temperament. You would not want to have a frown on your face during the entire trip, right? So, for that, let's see how is the climate of the pink city like.

Jaipur located at 26.92°N 75.82°E, is the headquarters of rajasthan Jaipur district which is situated in the eastern part of Rajasthan. It has a hot semi-arid climate receiving over 26 inches of rainfall annually but most rains occur in the monsoon months between June and September. Temperatures remain relatively high throughout the year, with the summer months of April to early July having average daily temperatures of around 30 °C.

During the monsoon there are frequent, heavy rains and thunderstorms, but flooding is not common, how can it be...it is located amid desert, remember?

The winter months of November to February are mild and pleasant, with average temperatures ranging from 15–18 °C and with little or no humidity. There are however occasional cold waves that lead to temperatures near freezing.

Now reading all this, isn’t that obvious that winters are the best time to explore Jaipur in all its glory.
