Think about it, what do we chase? The rush, the high, the adrenaline that spikes up to every nook and corner of our system. Football is the macrocosm of this time capsule and the FIFA World Cup 2014 in Brazil which holds its fervour is right round the corner. The much awaited series of chases begins on June 12th and will last up to July 13th. Till then the ball is indeed in your court, till the folks of another team brilliantly ply it away, with a skilled foot delivery back to their territory.

The host for the FIFA World Cup 2014 is Brazil this year. This spells three important things on your checklist; coffee, carnivals and the carnivalesque. Besides the beach, lovely ladies and pitchers of locally brewed assortments of beer. Moving away from the obvious, and looking into the but obvious are the stunning gems of architecture dotting the landscape - both man made and natural - take a look at places to visit and the football glory at the homeland - read Team Brazil. For non followers, that man of the hour at a point in time in football history, Ronaldo, is a good starting point.

FIFA World Cup 2014, touted as one of the greatest sporting events of all times, is also said to be the biggest and this year will see an active team participation from 208 Member Associations fighting for the FIFA World Cup. It is contested by national teams of football which consists of active and vociferous senior team players of men. When you get a break from the football mania, surge ahead and indulge yourself in some interesting things to do. Some trivia here - it is held and sees a competition of sorts every four years, when the world unites together to support their ardent favourites. This has been the prototype ever since 1930, barring 1942 and 1946, which was the time period in history of the Second World War.

FIFA’s motto reigns as it’s tagline - ‘For the game. For the world.’ Munch on that, or merely head to one of the many places to eat, right here in Brazil, while you loiter about reading and understanding the cultural impact of this sport on each of these major players in the world. The FIFA World Cup also aims at achieving the objects underlaid by its planning bodies, to unite the world and reach all of its global citizens through the pure spirit of sport, thereby developing one of the most cherished games mankind has ever seen and thereby see a brighter future for all involved in the process.

Brazil’s weather shall be on an excellent swing of it’s own accord around this time, with the weather from the tropics trying to do an overdrive over the high lofts. This is bound to get the game hotter too, what with screams, shouts, yells and quacks of relief over nervous energy; victory over defeat and vice versa.

The schedule for the FIFA World Cup 2014 in Brazil is out, which gives an outline of dates and competing national teams of countries that have made it so far from previous rounds of qualifying matches. The countdown to the finale of the matches kicks off on the 12th of June, between Brazil and Croatia and will see the core competitive instinct on a constant uprising till the 26th of June between Algeria and Russia. The Quarter Finals kick off on 4th of July, which shall be followed through till the 8th and 9th of July - the Semi Finals round.

Third play off on the 12th of July, flows into the final to be held on the 13th of July, which shall culminate the whole event with soaring spirits, you bet. Make your hotel bookings to Brazil sooner than later, because the adrenaline rush from the very thought is enough reason to take that leap of faith. A visual to watch out for, right upto the last kick through to the ultimate goal, FIFA World Cup 2014 stands ten notches above anticipation in the least!
