Check out the best 1 Day Trip to Nashik. Nashik is a holy place situated on the banks of the divine Godavari river. Its home to many ancient temples and said to be the abode for Lord Ram for 14 years. Its also the host to the most famous spiritual mela, the Kumbha Mela’ which happens only at four places in India.

So start your day by visiting the famous Ram Kund, the bathing tank that is said to be used by Lord Rama and Goddess Sita during the 14 years long ‘’Vanvaas’’. And its believed that if you put the ashes in this holy water it provides you ‘Moksha’. There are many riverside markets around this kund where you can shop for little souvenirs and also grab something quick to eat.

After this, take a small walk around the east side of the ghats from Ram Kund and reach Kalaram Mandir. This temple is built entirely of Black stone and contains important stuff from that time like many things that belonged to Lord Rama, Laxman and Goddess Sita. Just near this iconic temple is the Sita Gupta Cave where she was being abducted by the Ravana. This place must be there on your checklist while you are on your 1 Day Tour to Nashik.

After all this religious escapade, its time for some Lunch. You can choose from different places to eat at Nashik. After the lunch hire a taxi and head to Trimbakeshwar which is just 36 Kms from Nashik and is home to the immensely famous Trimbakeshwar Temple. Its the source of Godavari River and enshrines one of the 12 Jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva and the Jyotirlinga it enshrines is considered to be the main one. Visiting this place and coming back will take almost 2 to 3 hours.

Now After coming back from the Shiva Temple, its time to have a unforgettable rendezvous with the famous Wine Circuit of Nashik. Its the last thing to do while you are on your 1 Day Trip to Nashik. Head to any of the three vineyards here-York, Sula and Zampa and experience the wine tasting and visit the whole winery to have a fun-filled experience. If you are not interested in any of the religious sites or temples, you can simply opt for the Nashik Wine Tour which includes your stay at the hotel along with the visit to the 3 vineyards here where you can taste the wines and see the whole process too. You can also check out the 1 Day Trip Tour to Shirdi.
