Where can I find the best golgappas in Delhi?

7 people found this answer useful Useful ?Yes

If you love the rush of quickly gobbling up crunchy gol gappas which are brimming full of spicy, sweet and sour, flavoured jal jeera, Delhi has the best options for setting your tongue on a roller coaster ride! You will find the best golgappas at:

1. Nathu Sweets, Bengali Market

This place is one of my favourites because I can quickly eat some sweet after the Gol gappas set my tongue on fire! Puchkas for one person cost about INR 40, and one plate has 6 pieces!

Address: Shop No. 23,24,25
Bengali Market
New Delhi
India

2. Bengali Sweet House, Bengali Market

Bustling with people always, Bengali Sweet House serves gol gappas which seem to have come straight out of Kolkata! 8 yummy puchkas at INR 40 per person!

Address: Shop No. 27-33
Bengali Market
Connaught Place
New Delhi

3. Karol Bagh Market, Ajmal Khan Road

This small thela vendor at Karol Bagh dishes out better gol gappas than the ones that are served at chains like Haldirams and Bikanerwala! Slurpiness is at INR 30 with 5 puchkas!

Addresss: Near Roopak Stores
Ajmal Khan Road
Karol Bagh Market
New Delhi

4. Evergreen Sweet House, Green Park

Evergreen has been around for ages and only seems to better their taste everyday! I close a meal that starts with Golgappas by having a Kaala Jaam! Best ending to my day. A plate of Golgappas here costs INR 50.

Address: S 29 & 30
Main Market
Green Park
New Delhi

5. C R Park, Market 1 and 2

This guy with a thela dishes out such Golgappas, that you will lose count of the plates you have had once you start eating. He is pretty easy to spot and now has a vending place in both markets. 6 Golgappas for cost INR 30.

Address: Market 1 and 2
CR Park
New Delhi

6. Bittu Tikki Wala, Netaji Subhash Place

This is one name that gets me salivating! Yumminess here starts at Golgappas and never seems to end thanks to their mouth watering chats, tikkis and so much more. This place is my true love! Golgappas at less than INR 40 per person!

Address: G-46
Aggarwal Millennium Tower
Netaji Subhash Place
Pitampura
New Delhi

7. Chandni Chowk

Every and any chaat vendor in Chandni Chowk is a guru of taste! Golgappas here will cost you about INR 20- INR 40 for two!

Address: Chandni Chowk
New Delhi
India

If you're in west Delhi, you may want to try Atul Chaat in the Rajouri Garden main market. Its super crowded all the time and for reason :) Good Gappas! :)
