Snow and Manali are synonyms for the tourists. Its one of the best places to see snowfall, as chances of a snowfall are quite high at this time of the year. Manali stands high at an altitude of 2050 meters above sea level at the head of the Kullu valley. The weather in Manali would be mostly dry but there are chances of snow showers on either Friday or Saturday. Rohtang Pass is the best place to see snow as the stretch from Manali to Rohtang lets you explore the stunning panoramas of the glorious snow peaks and glaciers. Its an entry point for Pangi, Leh Valley and Lahaul Spiti and is known for its unpredictable snowfalls and wind velocity.

If you are an adventure freak, you are in for a pleasant surprise as the Rohtang Pass makes for some smashing adrenalin pumping winter sports like skating, mountain biking and skiing. Cover yourself with layers and layers of warm woollens and prepare to enjoy the stunning beauty and snowfall of this overwhelming mountains. The oxygen density starts thinning down at such high altitude. If you suffer from chronic respiratory diseases like asthma or have a heart condition, you should avoid going all the way up.
