The best offbeat destination in India is Palampur. It is a peaceful hill station and has the beauty all around. Palampur is an ideal holiday destination both for adventure seeker and nature alike in all seasons. I have been there in last summer during the vacations. I stayed there in a beautifull cottage that was Norwood Green. I really spent a great time over there. Here is also the link as follow:
