Built in year 1848, this architectural beauty is dedicated to Dharmanatha, the 15th of Jain Tirthankars. It’s flocked by devotees of all religions and also sees a steady flow of tourists. This double storied building houses 52 shrines and 11 deities. Brilliant carvings on the front dome are a must watch.

  • Sidi Saiyad Mosque

Famous for its architecture as well as its religious value, Sidi Sayad Mosque is a must visit attraction at Ahmedabad. This ancient marvel was built in 1953 by Sidi Sayeed, army general in the battalion of Sultan Shams-ud-Din Muzaffar Shah III. It’s one of the very few buildings that’s entirely arcuated, having archs as a major architectural component. The intricate latticework on the ten windows of the mosque is famous far and wide and has a charm that emanates sophistication and beauty. Its design is said to be depicting the interlaced branches of the ‘tree of life’.
