  • Vaishno Devi Temple

Visit the magical and scenic Mata Vaishno Devi cave-shrine, after a 14 kms steep, hilly trek from Katra, while enthusiastically chanting "Jai Mata Di" with other pilgrims. Pay your respects to the Maa Vaishno Devi, a reincarnation of Goddess Shakti, and soak yourself in all its legend and culture. There are three Pindis at the temple representing three Goddesses- namely Maha Saraswati, Maha Lakshmi and Maha Kali. Picturesque surroundings and the verdant, green surroundings keep company to tourists and pilgrims on their journey to the temple. The best time to visit this shrine is during the months of March to October even the temple is open for devotees all throughout the year.

  • Shiv Khori

Explore the religious significance of this popular pilgrimage site located around Katra. Pay your respects to the 4 feet naturally forming beautiful Shiva Linga which symbolizes Lord Shiva. It is a beautiful sight in itself as you will love to watch the milky limestone water flowing from stalactites and stalagmites. If you happen to visit the shrine during Shivratri, make sure you are a part of the grand fair that is organized during the same time.

  • Dera Baba Banda

The 15 feet long cave is also called Garbh Joon and can be visited on your way to the temple and makes for half of the journey.
