  • The Jail Museum


    The Jail Museum at Cellular Jail is one of the most famous museums at Port Blair. On display here are some of the rarest pictures of the bygone era of India's struggle for freedom. It's almost a pilgrimage place for the history buffs as well as art lovers. With the entire complex being declared as a National Memorial, this museum has an irresistible draw for visitors.

    Anthropological Museum

This one will give you an insider's view on the diverse tribal past of the region. The tribes of Andamans are considered as the oldest in the world, and this museum brings relics and fragments of long-gone times for the present and future generations. Get ready to be bowled over by the Jarawa chest guard, shamanic sculptures, and more. It lets you step back in the times of theJarawas, the Sentinelese, the Onges, the Nicobarese and the Shompens, all at a very meagre entry fee.
